This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
